Mid-century Scandinavian dining table in Karelian Birch

This table is made of birch wood. The table top is made of karelian birch veneer (also called curly birch). This variety of the common birch has a genetic defect that causes the tree to have curled trunk and branch growth. This gives a special decorative effect, making the wood from this tree desirable and quite expensive. Dxhxl: 89x75x140 cm. The table can be extended to 236 cm.
