French Brass Bouillotte Lamp, Late 19th Century

French bouillotte lamp, from the end of the 19th century. Bronze sconce bouillotte lamp converted to electric. It has a tole peinte shade that is height adjustable to slide with the candle. The wiring is from the mid-20th century and can be replaced by us with stranded wire and a new black plug.
