Old glass garden bell

Large blown glass melon bell dating from the 19th century. It is in perfect condition without cracks or chips. As it is handmade it is a unique piece with its peculiarities. The glass cabochon of the top serving as a grip for a shard, however it is still present. They were often broken by market gardeners to stack them more easily. The bell was covered with milk of lime that protected the young crops from the sun's rays, which marked the glass a little. It is really beautiful and authentic! Dimensions: diameter 50 cm and 30 cm high.
