Large, rare Italian reticulated, hand painted Rococo style floral motif large serving plate by the Nove factory. Depicted flowers hand painted in delicate pink, ocher yellow, Puque, lavender, plum, verdant green and periwinkle blue color scheme. This marvelous centerpiece is a delight which will transport you to the sun-filled days in the gardens of Italy. Complex, ornate form with elaborate details, exquisitely pained. Minor losses on edges and don't detract from the beauty and impact of this fabulous piece. A highly skilled team of artists to produce and constitute an ambitious undertaking in the factory's production. Signed on the base PD Nove with the Sun emblem. The Nove factory was established near Bassano in Northern Italy in 1727. The fine ceramic wares produced at Nove have made their way to world class museums such as the Metropolitan Museum.
