Beautiful Art Deco model designed by Luc Lanel for Christofle in 1937. Silver-plated metal handles, stainless steel blades. 12 dessert, cheese, and side knives. Very good condition, few visible signs of use and a lovely shine on the handles, but some sharpening marks on 6 of the blades, see photo. Alfénide hallmark in full on the blades. "OC" hallmark with a horse's head for "Orfèvrerie Christofle". Alfénide is a silverware brand created in the 19th century by Charles Halphen and acquired by Christofle in the early 20th century.
