Large bar cabinet by Louis Paolozzi for René Godfrid

Beautiful bar cabinet designed by Louis Paolozzi for the French manufacturer René Godfrid (French manufacturer of high-end products). With this cabinet, Paolozzi introduced the famous Italian design of the 1960s into the René Godfrid collection. The cabinet is made of an oak veneer corpus with solid oak end strips to prevent damage. This sideboard is made of two different types of wood: Mahogany, present on the two legs at the ends Oak veneer on the structure and doors Solid oak on the entire front fields The front is made up of three drawers on the lower part and two doors with keys, each of them with two handles. The interior is made up of shelves and a compartment for bottles. The screws are made of brass. Louis Paolozzi chose woods of different colors to create a contrast between the elements. The R-shaped base is the signature of the Paolozzi style. Condition: Very good condition, note that the handles of the piece of furniture were made of a plastic part behind the brass arch, a part missing on this piece of furniture. However, the various cupboards open easily.
