Floor lamp with two spots floor lamp in black lacquered and chrome metal with two diffuser spots. A beautiful creation from the 1970s, robust, elegant and functional. Omi and koch & lowy fleeing the german occupation in czechoslovakia, ernest lowy, then a lawyer, settled in manhattan in 1941 and created a military equipment workshop. After the second world war, he specialized in the production of lighting devices and founded the brand kock & lowy inc. Which he managed until his death in november 1990. It is fairly generally known that koch & lowy would have bought the omi company in the 1960s. But we sometimes find omi ball joints on other brands period circa 1970 height 155 cm materials chromed metal and lacquered metal design from the 1960s porcelain socket fully adjustable spot original plastic switch and bakelite.
