Hot air balloon shine

Superb balloon chandelier in brass with some bronze parts and lovely crystal pendants, a decorative piece of great charm inspired by Louis XVI / Napoleon III lighting. This model features a very beautiful openwork frame with leaf decorations, friezes, and floral motifs, typical of decorative lighting from the late 19th century and early 20th century. The lower part forms a balloon basket made up of chains of crystals and faceted drops that elegantly capture and diffuse light. The upper part is also decorated with a crown and pendants, adding depth and refinement to the whole, connected together and finishing with a small metal cup and a lovely glass crystal bead, which adds a lot of elegance to this chandelier. Overall good condition, with slight wear to the gilding in line with its age, it is functional as shown in the photos, equipped with a screw socket that can accommodate an E27 bulb (provided). The crystals capture and diffuse light with great brilliance, creating a warm and sophisticated atmosphere; this type of chandelier is highly sought after to enhance a living room, entrance, dining room, or characterful interior.
