Rajasthan, photograph of a train in backlight, rajasthan 1960s. Suraj n. Sharma, the author of this image, photographed india, his country, at length. He was originally from jaipur and crisscrossed rajasthan during the 50s and 60s in search of scenes to photograph. His photographs show an outdated and yet still familiar india. He let us consult his archives in search of the best shots. Pigment print 30 X 40 cm made in our parisian workshop by our master shooter on ultrasmooth archival 260g paper.
