Art Deco lamp in blue glass signed Ch. CATTEAU - Val Saint Lambert style

Rare and elegant art deco style blue molded glass table lamp, embossed with the signature “ch. Catteau”. This is a model inspired by the famous creations of charles catteau, probably produced by a belgian glassworks such as val saint lambert or scailmont in the 1930s and 1940s. The base is richly decorated with geometric and floral motifs typical of the art deco aesthetic. The shade is period and in cream fabric, with a very decorative scalloped finish.
