Willy Rizzo bar coffee table

In creating this luxurious rectangular coffee table, Willy Rizzo focused on combining functionality and aesthetics for everyday use. The top can be deployed sideways, revealing a dry bar that allows you to either store your favourite drinks or hide some of your books, magazines, or other items. The top is made of black glass and is surrounded by a chrome metal border. This striking combination gives the unit a bold and glamorous look. Willy Rizzo (1928-2013), born in Naples, was a celebrity and Hollywood photographer. His models include Brigitte Bardot and Audrey Hepburn. Later, Rizzo discovered that his clientele loved his particular aesthetic and sense of style so much that he decided to design furniture. His creations were often commissioned, for example, by Salvador Dali or Marilyn Monroe. From the late 1960s, Rizzo designed around thirty different pieces of furniture.
