Pregnant Chair by Trent Jansen and Marcel Wanders for Moooi, 2008

This is a very special, fun and playful chair. The 'pregnant chair' was designed by trent jansen in cooperation with marcel wanders for moooi. The pregnant chair is a wooden chair design that fits a smaller chair within the body of the full-size chair, as though the larger chair is pregnant. As with actual pregnancy and childbirth, the smaller chair can come out of the large chair, so there will be a seating for both mother and child. This chair was presented and exhibited by moooi at the milan design week in 2008. Measurements 'baby chair': h 36, 5 cm, w 24, 5 cm, d 25 cm, sh: 22, 5 cm. All is in a very good condition with some smaller signs of a age and use to the black lacquer. The large chair has a metal brand plate by moooi.
