Decorative shogi (将棋) game board made of keyaki wood from japan, dating from the 1940s. Keyaki is a rare and highly sought-after wood species from japan, seldom exported. Perfect as a unique side table, plant stand, and certainly still usable for playing shogi. The solid wood block is finished with elegantly crafted legs.
