A beautifully understated handmade Beni Ouarain rug with an unusual architectural design created entirely by texture. The artisan works with a single palette of natural ivory, combining raised wool tufts with flatter woven sections to create a striking three-dimensional geometric composition. The result is minimalist from afar and remarkably tactile up close — a contemporary interpretation of traditional Moroccan weaving where texture becomes the pattern. Each rug is handwoven by Amazigh (Berber) artisans, made from 100% natural sheep wool, woven on a traditional Berber loom, individually knotted and finished by hand, and created using traditional Moroccan weaving techniques. Completely unique — no handmade rug is identical. No mass production — only authentic Berber craftsmanship. Refined monochromatic palette: natural ivory, warm cream, subtle tones of oat and unbleached wool. The defining feature of this rug is its sculptural three-dimensional construction. The raised rectangular sections of plush wool are separated by narrow areas of flatter weaving, creating an irregular grid reminiscent of architectural blocks or a modernist composition. The rectangles deliberately vary in size and proportion, giving the piece its artisanal rhythm. Compatible with minimalist interiors, organic modern, Japandi, wabi-sabi, Scandinavian, contemporary Mediterranean, modern rustic, discreet luxury, neutral, and monochromatic styles. Dimensions: 240 × 160 cm. Newly handmade in a cooperative in Morocco.
