Bohemian czech design 1960s borske sklo chribska art glass sommerso bowl by josef hospodka. This attractive bowl is often confused with and wrongly attributed by worldwide copycats to paul kedelv, flygsfors glasbruk, murano, verboeket, or kristalunie maastricht. Monumental, large, and heavy fifties free-formed art glass object / bowl in various techniques and colors: Sommerso technique. Cranberry, purple, pink and white colors. Sculptural object. Hand made. Mouth-blown. Biomorphically shaped. Early piece made in the 1960s. Mid-century modern art glass. The bowl is in excellent condition, with no chips, no cracks, no flea bites; only minor signs of wear from use and handling.
