Midcentury table lamp | Josef Hurka for Napako | vintage 60's

Famed design from czechoslovakia. This lamp is a design created by josef hurka, one of the designers that worked for napako. It has a round metal base to support the curved chrome upright and the trumpet-shaped lamp shade. The lamp shade has the on/off switch on the back, inside is a socket for a regular e27 light bulb. The color of the lamp is red, bordering on orange. It is in good condition, with some minor traces of use in the form of two small chafed spots and one small dent. See pictures. The lamp is fit for both 110v and 220v, it uses a regular e14 light bulb, 40w max or led. As a manufacturer, napako has its origins in metalworking for construction. The company started making lamps in the late 40's, /early 50's. It is still in existence today. But no longer brings lamps to the market.
