Sarreguemines carmen iron earth salad bowl / tureen from the 19th century with drawing of flowers and butterflies and dragonflies. It was made between 1875 and 1900 as evidenced by its stamp on the back. It is cracked hence its selling price. It nevertheless remains very beautiful for a table or kitchen decoration or empty pocket in an entryway. The blue is splendid, perfectly preserved. Her designs are elegant with flowers and leaves but also with two dragonflies and butterflies that flutter. Both insects are present, which is rarer to find. This plate has another particularity: two tones of blue are present in the flower design. One light and one darker. Height 9 cm. Opening diameter 19 cm. Width with handles 25 cm. Base diameter 12 cm. Weight 650 grams. Old - decoration - vintage - shabby style - antique - idea - Christmas gift.
