Dimensions: approx. 130 × 85 × 73 cm (width × depth × height) Two integrated extensions of 53.5 cm each – total length: 237 cm. Original extendable dining table, designed by Henning Kjærnulf for Vejle Stole & Møbelfabrik, Denmark, 1960s. This model perfectly illustrates mid-20th century Danish design with its balanced proportions, excellent craftsmanship, and timeless elegance. The slightly angled legs and the delicately rounded edge of the tabletop give it a particularly refined silhouette. The tabletop is veneered in teak and incorporates two original extensions hidden beneath the tabletop when not in use. This ingenious system allows for quick expansion of the table without the need for separate storage for the extensions. Once extended, the table can comfortably accommodate eight to ten people. Condition: Surface carefully restored. Teak veneer in very nice vintage condition with a lovely patina, some slight age-related discolouration on the tabletop as well as discreet signs of use. An elegant Danish table, rare and particularly functional.
