Vintage glass vase attributed to Georgshütte.

Particularly expressive vintage vase, made of thick and heavy transparent glass, probably in Germany in the 1960s or 1970s. Its ample and irregular relief evokes a melting ice surface or a deeply sculpted bark. Light reflects off the many roughnesses of the glass, giving the vase an almost mineral presence. It is very decorative on its own, near a window, but can also hold a branch or a few long-stemmed flowers. The shape and texture bear strong similarities to the frosted glass productions of Georgshütte, sometimes offered under the name "Arktis". As the vase bears neither signature nor label, this attribution remains cautious. The solid glass ensures excellent stability. The deliberately irregular upper edge and pronounced relief are part of the design. A small chip is present on the upper edge and is clearly visible in the last photo. The base also shows fine scratches and signs of use related to age. No cracks.
