Retro chic wooden shelf

This pretty wooden shelf was in a beautiful bourgeois home from the early 20th century. It therefore certainly dates from the early 20th century and has lovely refined details: its turned feet but above all its finishes worked on all the edges and sides which give it a lot of character and an undeniable retro chic charm. It has gone through the decades without damage but needed to be brought up to date. It was therefore completely cleaned, treated and then sanded to expose its pretty wood. The exterior and the raw wood shelves were protected with a colorless matt care oil. The interior was painted in off-white, Courchevel white. The combination of wood and beige brings warmth and softness. It is ready for its new life: living room shelf to accommodate beautiful dishes, beautiful books and beautiful objects, bar cabinet, kitchen shelf, hallway bookcase, storage unit in a bathroom, in a child's bedroom.
