Extra frame: 42x52cm. —- The printing house was founded in the early 1960s by cino del duca, and aimed at printing periodicals. It welcomed up to 500 employees in the 1980s and 1990s. But from the 1990s, the situation changed. The activity of printing periodicals was gradually transferred to other printing works, the blésoise printing company turning to commercial documentation. The last owner, quebecor world, separated from its european production units in 2008. These were bought by a dutch investment fund. The latter permanently closed the printing plant in september 2008. Cino del duca, whose real name is pacifico del duca, was born in 1899 into a modest family in central italy. Committed to the left (adherent to the communist party), he was arrested and imprisoned under mussolini. Working for a publishing house, he then started his own publishing house with his two brothers in 1928. To escape the surveillance to which he was subjected, and to develop his business, he emigrated to france and settled in paris in 1932, where he continued his publishing activity in the press. In the 50s, he diversified his activities, opening bookstores, producing films... He also opened four printing houses for the printing of his magazines. Its printing works were at the cutting edge and were then considered flagships. We owe him many titles, especially in comic magazines and in the press of the heart: tarzan, hurrah!, the adventurous, intimacy, we two, fashions and works, but also telepoche, which revolutionized the format of the pros.
