Modernist painting by the swedish painter knut wilhelm lindström. The picture was painted in oil technique on canvas in 1954. Knut wilhelm lindström, born april 6, 1916 in gothenburg, died august 29, 1990, was a swedish painter. Lindström studied art for nils nilsson at the valand school of painting in gothenburg 1941-1944. He exhibited at the olsen art salon in gothenburg in 1946, together with lennart wilkmar at galleri aveny in gothenburg in 1950 and with helge lindahl, olof leyman and bengt blomqvist in gothenburg in 1953. He took part in collective exhibitions with the art association at the art gallery in gothenburg. His art consists of still lifes, landscapes, forest interiors and portraits in strong colors. He created under the influence of ivan ivarson and inge schiöler. Lindström is represented at the gävle museum and the borås art museum.
