Superb michelin sign for bicycle tires with the bibendum on the handlebars. The enameled steel plate is in the shape of a shield with the bibendum. It is signed on the edge “smalterie lombarde ing. Riva via gulli 19 milano”. This original advertising sign was made in italy in the 1950s. The difference with the french one is the fixing. Legs for the french version and holes in the plate for the italian version. It is in excellent condition with perfect and shiny enamel. It is a rare and unobtainable collector's item for enthusiasts and collectors. A super collector's item for smart decorators.
