Description
Brutalist stool in veneer wood, probably made in senegal. Year 1950-1960. The thickness of the seat is 6.5 cm, the edges and feet are worked with an adze. Vene or “pterocarpus africanus” is a species of dry sudano-guinean forests nicknamed senegal rosewood. Good condition, traces of use and a barely visible tear on one of the stools (see photo).
