Teak table with Osvaldo Borsani system 1955

Beautiful round table by osvaldo borsani, adjustable in height, from the 1950s/1955s. Solid teak top 120cm in diameter and matt chrome steel tripod leg. High quality finishes, like this double bevel work on the entire edge of the top. The ingenious height adjustment mechanism (raises and lowers) is activated by a lever located under the table, which activates the pump located in the central shaft. When the desired height is set, the lever is easily locked in the desired position. The lowest position is 55 cm, the highest 75 cm. This mechanism was used for the model t41 of 1957 by this same designer for his tekno brand. A beautiful, timeless piece.
