Bench in solid pine by Christian Durupt, designed for the Courchevel resort in the 1960s. The bench consists of a thick rectangular seat resting on straight legs, with a solid backrest forming a continuous linear element. The design is deliberately simple and functional, highlighting the material, generous sections, and the natural grain of the wood. The whole evokes robust furniture, intended for everyday use, characteristic of certain French productions from the 1970s. Seat height: 46 cm. France circa 1960.
