Ancient Moroccan plateau in engraved brass — 8-pointed star. 1960s. Handmade production. It is finely hammered and hand-engraved with a geometric pattern of an 8-pointed star (khatam), typical of traditional Moroccan craftsmanship. The edge is adorned with a continuous vegetal frieze, equally carefully chiselled. The golden patina, slightly irregular with some natural oxidations (visible on the back), attests to its authenticity and age. A ring on the back allows it to be hung on the wall for a riad-style wall decoration. Compact size, ideal for: Table centrepiece or candle tray. Decorative catch-all. Small ethnic/bohemian wall decor. Coaster or trivet. Diameter: 25 cm. Material: brass. Condition: good vintage condition, signs of use and patina of time (see photos), no holes or major deformities.
