Vase bouquetière cache-pot sandstone enamelled with bouffioulx signed dubois

The vase is in perfect condition, no gaps, no cracks or splinters. Note some microginnings under the perimeter of the base, but tiny. It is made of glazed sandstone of bouffioulx in belgium, and the piece is marked on the reverse at the hollow tip. It is signed "dubois". Very thin earth, dense and heavy, and beautiful refined enamel in natural tones ranging from beige to dark gray. The very free graphic motifs refer to certain pieces of ethnic pottery. Work of the late 50s. The vase is pierced with an original hole, allowing it to be hung on the wall, and used both as a bouquetière or as a pot-cover.
