Mid-century minimalist fiberglass ceiling light, 1960s

Vintage design. Large ceiling lamp made of fibreglass. A flat fibreglass shell that sits beneath the ceiling. Spider-shaped arms hold the bowl at a central point with three light sources. Only the brass heads of the screws penetrate the surface of the diffuser shell from the suspension. A very understated design element. The light diffuses freely towards the ceiling while passing through the translucent material of the diffuser. The structure of the material appears wonderfully.
