Industrial workbench - 37 drawers

A piece of furniture from an old watchmaking workshop, consisting of two detachable modules, with a total height of 125 cm. It comprises a total of 37 drawers. Restoration: Fronts: The fronts of the drawers have been fully sandblasted to reveal the raw wood, then stained in a rosewood shade and protected with antique wax. Structure: The structure has been repainted and varnished. The brass label holders have all been stripped and cleaned. Details on condition and structure: This piece of furniture is an antique, with a structure made of plywood. It is sturdy and perfectly functional for everyday domestic use (storage of documents, accessories, or small textiles). By design, this furniture is not intended to support very heavy loads; reasonable use is recommended. The back and some parts of the furniture show marks related to its past use (see photos). These marks testify to its history and do not affect its sturdiness. One of the boards located under the base of one of the modules is not original but does not compromise its sturdiness or aesthetics. Dimensions (per module): Height - 62 cm. Width - 100 cm.
