Complete vintage leather lounge set, including a 3-seater sofa and two matching armchairs, often referred to as a "3+1+1" set, designed by Italian designer Alberto Nieri. The set is in very good condition. The leather shows no major scratches, tears, or significant sun discolouration, and the back of the sofa is impeccable. The backrest is shell-shaped and very enveloping, with draped vertical seams. The genuine cowhide or buffalo leather is of the highest quality. It is a tawny/cognac brown colour with a beautiful pleated appearance. The lower structure and armrests are highlighted by a visible solid varnished wood frame. About the designer: Alberto Nieri is a renowned Italian manufacturer based in Tuscany, known for his artisanal craftsmanship, the use of noble solid woods (such as beech), and very high-quality leathers.
