Vintage 1970s Retro MPS Jazz Festival Poster

An original vintage 1971 poster for the mps jazz '71 festival, featuring the festival line-up with fun, colourful typography. The acts included european and american jazz legends and, then, contemporary artists, including dave pike set, wolfgang dauner trio + rolf kühn, 'sugarcane' harris group, kenny clarke, francy boland, benny bailey, derek watkins, art farmer, manfred schoof, åke persson, nat peck, albert mangelsdorff, erik van lier, jean warland, kenny clare, herb geller, stan salzmann, ronnie scott, tony coe, sahbi shihab and stan getz. It was organisaed by mps records and basf in frankfurt's jahrhunderthalle. The poster is generally excellent, with minor 'crumpling' to the left side (see first and last photos).
