Bean shape dressing table - thuya burl and rosewood - period: art deco

Lovely kidney-shaped dressing table, in cedar burl, rosewood and light wood veneer. It rests on a spindle base, magnified by four gilded bronze shoes. It opens with a drawer in the belt and presents a tilting psyche with a beveled mirror, flanked on each side by a pair of two gilded bronze sconces. Completely restored by our workshops and varnished with a stamp, according to the rules of the art. A piece of furniture made up of a mirror on an easel and a table on which they place all their toiletries, such as jewelry, bottles, combs, and other beauty products used on a daily basis. Furniture even existed in antiquity, since we find traces of it on the frescoes of the villa of the mysteries in pompeii. It is also called a dressing table. This practical and functional piece of furniture often takes the form of a desk. A seat, in the form of a stool, allows you to sit there in order to prepare yourself.
