Description
Great cut Art deco on pedestal cracked earthenware decorated with lines, dots and windings of Turquoise in enamels of Longwy. This Cup was designed by the Primavera workshop and by the manufacture of Longwy. The Primavera workshop (1912-1972) is born from the collaboration between the Director of the Department stores in the spring, Gustave Laguionie, his son Pierre and the lawyer René Guilleré, founder of the society of artists decorators. They open a workshop in the spring, Colette Gueden lead for more than thirty years, surrounding himself with young artists in vogue, in the idea of producing quality objects, to the taste of the day and in a limited edition. They associate with existing manufactures, including that of Longwy, providing the drawings of the parts to run.
