Old rose board representing the variety mrs john laing. This horticultural variety was created in 1887, a beautiful rose of delicate silk pink color. This vintage original plate dates from 1968, after an engraving by j.kaplicka, famous botanist illustrator, in the same vein as pierre-joseph redouté. Size: 26 X 20 cm. The condition of this engraving is excellent. Sold without frame, but ideal to frame. This reproduction comes from a rare book published in paris and dedicated to particularly aesthetic collector's roses. The colors on the board are bright, sharp and clear: a horticultural illustration that will make a beautiful decoration. Note a text printed on the back of the board but which does not appear.
