Superb condition for this large mirror louis philippe (nineteenth century). In its gilding with the original gold leaf, it dates from 1885. How do we know. Thanks to the newspapers glued on the original panels of the back. One of them says: the financial monitor, september 26, 1885 (it cost 20 cents). The stucco frame is finely chiseled with floral decorations on which we can clearly see the parts where the gilder has superimposed the leaves, creating small darker bands absolutely magical. A complete row of pearls borders the ice, which is also original and in a superb state of preservation. Some very rare bites that attest to his age but a reflection as bright as the first day. Some rare and tiny traces on the stucco too.
