Model desk "Ariel" by Jean Domps, Trefac edition 1960

3-drawer desk model "ariel" by jean domps, trefac edition - meurop circa 1960. Metal structure lacquered black tone, top and box in chipboard veneered teak varnished, wooden drawers. Rare version with drawer handles in black lacquered metal. It is likely that this edition was created especially to associate with the first series of furniture designed by pierre guariche and published in december 1960, also equipped with black lacquered metal handles. This is the only example with this type of handles that we have encountered to date. Rare piece. In very good vintage condition, the tray has been reprocessed, some traces of use and time, stains, small strokes, claws and wear without gravity. A deep double claw still visible on the board, a tackle jump of +-12mm on the edge of the box... Very nice overall appearance. The original lock works, but the key is missing.
