A bold handmade Moroccan wool rug with a striking contemporary composition built around a large olive green central field, graphic black and ivory stripes, and bright orange-red accents. The design appears unusually modern and architectural, but the irregularity of the lines, subtle variations in the wool, and the hand-finished surface clearly reveal its artisanal origin. It is a particularly strong example of how traditional Moroccan weaving can evolve into a truly contemporary textile piece. Each rug is handwoven by Amazigh (Berber) artisans, made from 100% natural sheep wool, woven on a traditional Berber loom, individually knotted and finished by hand, dyed with carefully selected dyes, and completely unique.
