Black library apothecary showcase XIXth Napoleon III

Large apothecary furniture of the nineteenth napoleon III in two parts. He can do everything: bookcase, showcase, dresser, sideboard, dressing room, trade furniture. You can store dishes, books, clothes, shoes, jewelry... His stage presence does not leave indifferent. In the lower part: a large open storage with an adjustable rack and pinion shelf. In the center: a large drawer that locks, equipped with two wooden pins (visible in photo) to block it and prevent falling. In the upper part: a large showcase with two doors opening onto 5 shelves of two different depths also adjustable on racks. The 2 shelves at the top are shallower than the 3 shelves at the bottom, offering an easier grip. The old period glass is recognizable by its irregularities. Manufacture of very good quality in solid wood with several species: oak, mahogany and pitchpin. Only the shelves are made of veneer, which offers a good flat hold of the depositing surfaces. Each shelf has a rounded edge of original blackened wood.  cremonas and brass locks. Furniture completely cleaned and restored, initially in blackened wood, it was repainted in the past several times. We restored it to its former appearance with a black paint applied in 3 layers. The bottom shelf in the lower part has been restored by marrying sycamore wood with oak. This two-body sideboard has regained the splendor of the contrast between the colors of the different species and the deep black.  this piece of furniture will occupy all the rooms of a private and professional interior with strength and elegance.  Dimensions (cm): w140 X d50 X h239.
