This superb designer "bubble" lamp is made of a smoked glass ball and decorated with chrome metal. This is a vintage pendant light in the space-age style typical of the 1970s. This pendant light was created by designer rolf krüger and motoko ishi for the publisher staff lights "staff leuchten" in germany. The sphere is made of glass molded with pins and delicately smoked. It is suspended by a chrome metal rod and held by a chrome cup. The ceiling wire cover is made of cream-colored plastic. This light measures approximately 32 cm in diameter and 70 cm in height. I point out traces of use: oxidation of the chrome and scratches on the stem. The plastic is yellowed. Electrification must be checked for vintage lighting fixtures to the standards of the time...
