Pair of white wrought iron armchairs, winter garden style, France, 1950s

Rare and elegant pair of French winter garden armchairs from the 1950s. Revisited by their previous owners (seats and backs in wood as well as upholstery), this pair of white lacquered wrought iron armchairs features delicate and rich ironwork with its loops, scrolls, and laces, reminiscent of the work of René Prou or Jean Royère, to name just a few. The foam upholstery is comfortable and covered in a navy blue and white striped fabric. In overall good condition, with stains and marks on the upholstery (notably on the reverse), to be left as is or reupholstered to one's taste. A matching 3-seater sofa is also available.
