Archimede Seguso - 1950s Murano Topaz Pulegoso Bubble Glass Table Lamp

A vintage flattened drop-shape table lamp of slightly opalescent topaz glass cased in clear with a pulegoso/bollicine layer of small random bubbles between. The lamp was conceived in the mid-1950s at the archimede seguso glassworks, murano. The lamp accepts a b22 bayonet cap bulb, and has been rewired to meet modern safety standards with a generous length of premium italian 3-core cable with a vintage style black and white zig-zag rayon braid. The light source is controlled by a vintage style black bakelite inline switch. The lamp bears its original archimede seguso scalloped foil label to the base. The lamp has very light surface wear, otherwise excellent.
