Description
The fashion for indoor fountains was born with the appearance of the fork, which made it possible to wash your hands only, before and after the meal, instead of after each dish. This one is in pewter, the two tanks completely waterproof, with the original quarter-turn tap (rare) in bronze. This use lasted a century. Waxed oak wall support, with an additional second zinc tray for dishes. Origin: château d’abondance in haute savoie.
