Norman basin 19th. Of the brassware of villedieu-les-poêles. Red copper. Very good condition. No green of gray (without moisture) Wrought iron handle 91cm. Diameter 26cm. Depth 11cm. Beautiful copper finishes. Impeccable background for age. History: comes from a small family norman castle. Used to "basin", warm with ashes, beds with cotton sheets or thick and cold linen. The basin was just passing because it could set fire. The long solid handle, allowed to go back and forth from head to foot and in the width. This work was tiring because the sheets and quilts of feathers were heavy, the bed not being open to be done.
