A gigantic place in the history of furniture! Combining lightness, simplicity and soft curves, the Thonet n14 and n18 bistro chairs are one of the best-selling pieces of furniture in the world, the n14 being the first to be mass-produced! It was Thonet who invented steam-bent wood to create these voluptuous and refined lines that contrast with the richly decorated furniture of the time. The n14 chair won the gold medal at the Paris World's Fair in 1859, the first seat in the world assembled in kit form. They are stamped and have a beautiful original patina, dating from the 19th century and slightly renovated. Their stable seat brings elegance, refinement and comfort. A timeless look that blends with any type of interior, bringing a touch of warmth and a hint of the countryside.
