Description
Brutalist chandelier from the 1900s called "office crown" in wrought iron and rope, 4 lights (e14 socket), animal decoration (bear and deer) and hooks including 1 in the center. Very beautiful piece of character, in very good vintage condition, some traces of use on the candles (see photos), diameter of the circle: 36 cm "the crown of office is a wrought iron instrument, made up of several metal hooks, suspended by a ring or hook, used to hang meat and cold meats, in order to preserve them by drying and smoking. The pantry crown (otherwise known as “meat crown”, “game crown”, “andouille crown”, “circle crown”, “crown circle”) is made up of several hooks mounted on one or more horizontal circles superimposed connected to each other by strips of metal, crisscrossing to form a dome ending at the top with a suspension ring.
