Set of 12 Creil and Montereau flat plates, Ceylan service

Superb series of 12 19th century flat plates in terre de fer earthenware from creil and montereau, ceylon labrador service. Each plate is stamped on the reverse. The brown decoration is made with a stencil. The color of the plates is slightly cream/ivory. The lot is in superb condition. There are no accidents: no chips, no chips, no stains, no cracks. The edges are very smooth. The earthenware is beautiful and shiny. No trace of restoration. A few superficial knife marks here and there and a beautiful uniform patina (see all photos).
