Desk lamp

Elegant desk lamp from the mid-20th century. Very simple in its design, this lamp is made up of a vertical rod, stabilized by a cast iron base covered with a cover, on which an articulated bulb holder arm slides, finished with a tinted glass tulip. The raw cast iron ballast of the foot shows traces of oxidation (visible in the photos). Hidden, it is entirely covered by an aluminum cowling. The cowling bears the “marks of time” in the form of small marks and a few minor scratches (visible in the photos). The arm joint on the stem is functional. It also bears the “marks of time” and the multiple tightenings it had to undergo (visible in the photos). Its electrical equipment has been completely refurbished. Switch, socket and twisted wires are new, and will receive a b22 bulb (not supplied) Timeless in its simplicity, stable, practical, it should always find its place on a desk.
