Vintage 50s Tolix armchair with patina

Comfortable Tolix T2 armrest chair by Xavier Pouchard Vintage from the 1950s. Version - less common - with beech wood slats painted red-orange here beautifully patinated by time. The tubular metal structure is also well patinated. The whole thing was left in its found condition, simply cleaned, very lightly sanded to soften the surfaces, the metal was waxed and the wood nourished with linseed oil. A beautiful iconic piece from France in the 1950s
