Large presentation plate in Italian art ceramic, V. Bassano

Detailed description: Large circular serving or presentation dish signed on the back "V. BASSANO". Made in Italy (region of Bassano del Grappa, Veneto), it dates from the second half of the 20th century. In baroque style, it features an ivory/cream enamel with an artistically aged patina (shaded wash in the recesses) highlighting the relief patterns. The rim of the dish is richly moulded with radiant flutes and rhythmically adorned with baroque-style cartouches and scrolls in relief. The central basin has a smooth finish with slight circular nuances, reflecting the artisanal craftsmanship. The back bears the authentic handwritten signature of the Bassano workshop. Diameter and weight: 32 cm / 865g. Condition: Very good overall condition. The piece has no cracks. The original patina is perfectly preserved, giving the object all its authentic and warm charm.
